Programs & Services

We offer a wide range of programs and services to meet the needs of those affected by our cause.

Community Impact: A series of three annual events which provide vital services to Lincoln’s youth and families. 

• The Back to School Free Haircuts and Backpacks Event, where youth receive a free haircut, and a backpack full of school supplies, socks, and underwear, and families get to enjoy a safe, fun family street fair with food, games, and entertainment. Held in August each year as families prepare for the new school year.
• The Community Holiday Food Giveaway, where families receive a full Thanksgiving meal package including a turkey and all the fixings for a family of 5, along with socks, underwear, and winter coats, hats and gloves. Held each November as families prepare for the upcoming winter.
• The Holiday Toy Giveaway, where parents receive free gifts for their children, along with socks, underwear, and winter coats, hats and gloves. Held each December to allow families to make the holiday season special for all youth.

Mentoring in New Dimensions (MIND): MIND is a combination barbershop mentoring and peer group counseling program designed to support minority youth to foster caring relationships, identify and enhance personal strengths, build confidence, and open new doors to opportunities by establishing a circle of support with their peers and positive adult role models. MIND is a 10-week program offered in conjunction with organizations that serve racially and economically diverse youth.
