  1. Visionary Youth has been in operation since 2001 prior to filing 501(c)3 status and in that time, has served over 3000 young people and their families with free haircuts, school supplies, personal hygiene and basic needs items, family events, gifts at Christmas, and informal mentorship. Currently, Visionary Youth is looking to expand their programming to formalize mentorship activities with a group of barbers trained as mentors and passionate about serving as positive adult role models for disadvantaged youth.

  2. There are several ways that you can get involved in the work of Visionary Youth!
We hold events 3-4 times per year to provide low income young people with free haircuts, basic needs items, and positive, safe family events. We are always looking for volunteer barbers and stylists to help with these events, donations of items to distribute to the young people, and volunteers to make the events great.
We are also always looking for sponsors to contribute funds to help continue these events and expand our programming. Check out our sponsorship levels or click the donate button to help out however you can, every contribution helps!
Let people know about us! Tell your friends and colleagues about Visionary Youth, check out our Facebook page and like and share!

  3. Your generous donations will go directly to basic needs items to distribute to youth; holding events for young people and their family where youth can participate in fun safe activities and receive free haircuts, basic needs items, a meal; or to support our mentors in the MIND program to provide mentorship to young people in the community.
